The Stellar Group of graduate research students at the Digital Media Center at Louisiana State University explored communicating complex ideas to large groups of people, using the human voice! It was a fun and effective workshop with folks from all over the globe, and I’m hoping to be able to work with these fancy humans again! and again!
We are happy to team up for the first time with Center on Halsted to begin offering Voice Workshops for Transgender Women. This free workshop is the first in hopefully many continuing offerings where you will learn the most effective and sustainable exercises and practices for expanding your vocal expression and share challenges and successes, what works and what doesn't, with a professional voice coach trained to work with gender expansive voices.
Every first and third Friday of the month! Explore breathing, pitch, resonance, articulation, singing and healthy voice function in a supportive and fun environment with other transgender and nonbinary folks interested in making themselves heard.
